Shala Hopkins, 4, has an exhibit on display at the Multicultural Center of the South Little Tykes Art Gallery, 520 Spring St., Shreveport.

Shala's work reflects people with smiling faces and is on exhibit from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday throughout the month of May.

The Multicultural Center of the South recently hosted an exhibit viewing and opening reception for Shala in honor of National Week of the Young Child.
