14th Annual Taste of Culture 2018   

The annual cultural food experience that celebrates the beauty and diversity of the 26 cultures that make up Shreveport-Bossier and Northwest Louisiana.  Food vendors from all over the area come together to serve up foods from all over the world.  This is truly a unique and delicious experience that is not to be missed! 

"three1eight: Karen T. La Beau: Continuing My Life on Canvas" Art Exhibition of Karen La Beau 2018   

The Multicultural Center proudly welcomes back local award-winning artist Karen La Beau for her recent series which depicts the culture and history of Shreveport and Northwest Louisiana. 

Little Tykes Art Gallery 2018   

In honor of National Week of the Young Child, the Multicultural Center of the South chose two promising young artists to display in the art galleries.  This year 5 year old McKinley Harris IV and 6 year old Alesana Cracolici each had their very first art exhibitions and receptions.  

7th Annual International Women's Circle 2018  

In honor of National Women's History Month, the Multicultural Center of the South hosts its 7th annual International Women's Circle bringing together the beautiful, the strong, and the culturally unique women of Northwest Louisiana.  This year's guest speaker was entrepreneur, advocate, and global humanitarian Mrs. Velma Jean Kirksey-Tarver.   

"Man on Canvas Three - Karma" Art Exhibition of Tesfaye Negusse 2018  

Ethiopian Abstract Artist Tesfaye Negusse returns to Shreveport after four years for his latest art exhibition, "Man on Canvas Three - Karma".  This stunning collection includes more than 20 pieces of art showcasing biblical themes, African culture, New Orleans life, and even modern scenes.  

Mardi Gras 2018  

Every year the Multicultural Center transforms their gorgeous 12 foot Christmas tree into a fun and festive Mardi Gras tree.  Come visit during the Mardi Gras season and see our beautiful and fun Mardi Gras decorations.  This year we had a Mardi Gras History Exhibit filled with fun and interesting facts about the history and culture of Mardi Gras in Louisiana.
